A Black Lives Matter poster for schools and workplaces
A Black Lives Matter poster is a powerful, visible way to show that your school, college or organisation stands against racism. The phrase Black Lives Matter became widely known from 2013 as a call to end racial injustice, and today it is used by schools, universities, charities and employers across the UK to show their commitment to equality and respect.
These four designs range from bold statement posters for corridors and halls to a calm, elegant design for offices and receptions. Each one is printed in the UK on thick 260gsm paper with rich, deep colour.

Design 1 – Bold typography
Heavy black lettering on cream inside a green and terracotta border, with the line equality, justice, respect. A striking statement for corridors, halls and libraries.
Design 2 – “Stand together against racism”
A row of raised fists in many skin tones beneath cream lettering on deep charcoal. Ideal for secondary schools, colleges, student unions and youth centres.
Design 3 – “Grow kindness. Choose respect.”
The words Black Lives Matter woven through bright flowers and leaves on soft sage green. A hopeful, gentle design for classrooms and community spaces.
Design 4 – “We Stand For Equality”
Elegant cream lettering on deep burgundy with gold lines and the call to listen, learn and act. A professional choice for offices, receptions and staff rooms.

Why Black Lives Matter posters matter
Pupils, students and staff who experience racism need to know that the people around them will stand with them. A visible Black Lives Matter poster shows that racism will be challenged, encourages people to speak up and opens the door to honest conversations about fairness, history and respect. It also helps everyone understand that being anti-racist means taking action, not just avoiding racist behaviour.
How to use Black Lives Matter posters
Introduce the posters in an assembly, tutor time or staff briefing, and explain what the message means and how people can report racism. In secondary schools, use Designs 1 and 2 to open discussions in PSHE, history and citizenship lessons. Display them all year as part of your anti-racism work, not only during awareness events.
Combine this range with our anti-racism poster, Black History Month poster and diversity poster for a complete equality display.
