Cyber Security Poster

A cyber security poster for every office and staff room

A cyber security poster is a simple, low-cost way to remind staff of the habits that keep your organisation safe. Most cyber attacks on small businesses and schools start with something ordinary: a convincing email, an unlocked screen or a weak password. Clear posters near the places people work turn security training into a reminder they see every day.

These four designs are written for adults and use plain, practical advice in line with widely recommended UK guidance, so they suit offices, school staff rooms, reception areas and shared workspaces alike.

Four cyber security poster designs

Choose a design from the Design menu above and the main image switches to show it.

Design 1 – “Don’t Get Hooked”

A glowing email caught on a fishing hook, with three quick checks for phishing emails: check the sender, hover before you click and, if in doubt, report it.

Design 2 – “Stepping Away? Lock Your Screen”

An empty desk with a locked monitor, reminding staff to protect data every time they leave their desk. Perfect beside hot desks and shared computers.

Design 3 – “Use Three Random Words”

Bold coloured tiles show how three random words make a long, strong password that is still easy to remember.

Design 4 – “Turn On 2-Step Verification”

A phone with a verification code and a shield, encouraging staff to add an extra lock to email, cloud storage and other important accounts.

Why cyber security posters work

Annual training is easy to forget, but a poster is seen every day. Short, positive messages placed exactly where risky actions happen, such as beside the printer or on the kitchen noticeboard, nudge people to pause before they click or walk away from an unlocked screen. They also show visitors, inspectors and clients that your organisation takes data protection seriously.

How to use cyber security posters at work

Launch the posters alongside staff training or an IT update, and rotate the designs every few months so the message stays fresh. Put Design 1 near shared printers and inboxes, Design 2 beside hot desks, and Designs 3 and 4 in kitchens and break rooms where people have time to read them.

In schools, use the posters in staff rooms and school offices, where staff handle pupil data every day, and pair them with our internet safety poster and social media safety poster for pupils. Many schools display them during Cyber Security Awareness Month in October.
